Sometimes A Little Patience Is What Keeps You Moving

scholarayu sometimes a little patience is exactly what keeps you moving

You have anxiety. You need answers to your anxiety? And you need all those answers a pretty soon.

You can't spend another minute in the dark; you don't know you did well on your test; if he loves you back; if your boss will insult you; if your friend forgave you for that one mistake you apologized a thousand times in; what will happen when you will get back to your normal routine and so on.

You deliberately want to know what will come next. You need to hold the cord that will pull you out of the quicksand to get into it.

So you go out in search of answers, for a way out, for a path forward anywhere you think you might get them all.

But what will happen? You will get all your answers in the wrong places.

You are looking for them with a little awareness of the low value, in repetitive patterns full of explosions, and incorrect communication that only works to ensure your worst choice. You chase after a small explosion of dopamine that gives you pain for a while before you ask for more, like a junkie too tired to guess the way it used to be.

You go online looking for likes, retweets, and passing hearts which means nothing the second when they’re gone. You go online, and you try to figure out what he does, and what his female friend has that you don’t, and how can you understand that he likes her so much but not you?

You will check online on youtube channels for a piece of content that can make you slightly optimistic about the future, but stepping out of a hamster's wheel feels tired and hopeless more than when you first entered.

Silence kills you. You are becoming anxious and you can't wait further. So you go-ahead sending an email, then message and you end up calling.

You will take everyone's opinion about what they think whether from friends, family members, coworkers.

What's next?

Now, what should you do?

The conclusion will be 'nothing.' You should sit back calmly and wait. Be patient. Let life also take five minutes. Let the dust settle down, the people calm down.

"Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement, and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success." -- Brian Adams

Learn to make yourself comfortable in silence, with suspense, with not knowing certain things.

Be patient. Don't rush behind finding answers, allow them to come to you at the right time. You won't be in the dark forever. As there is a famous proverb matching it- "Every night ends with a beautiful morning."

Sometimes, just keeping a little patience will teach you everything you need to know. It will show you the reality that who reaches you out there and who doesn't, who actually get the things done in your absence and who doesn't even try lifting up their fingers.

Patience will actually show you the real side of people. It will show you who wants you to be in their life and who doesn't. It will show you the direction of the wind in which it will blow.

All you have to do is just sit back relax, breathe, and wait.

It's really hard to be patient when it’s hard to tolerate when the deception of getting an answer is so prevalent. All you can do is pick up your phone, send a text or do whatever makes you happy.

Gather the willpower to wait. Gather patience.

At first, it might feel like you are bound to something like you are wasting your time and energy but believe me you are not. You are not going ahead of yourself you are just putting off your anxiety on the backseat and just refusing to listen to its bad advice.

Be patient when everything goes wrong or you are stuck somewhere. All your answers will come at their own pace. 'Losing patience can be like losing battle.'

When you will be patient and stop running behind those things which were disturbing you then the things will run behind you. You will receive all those unexpected calls, a phone call from someone whom you have never spoken but you wished to. You'll be surrounded by good news only that will feel like the light at the end of the tunnel.

When you will be patient then 'life will show you a path through a completely new path- one you never thought of even in your dreams that would bring you so many rewards and happiness.

When you will be patient it will again show you a path and remember to follow that path.

Its rightly said - "Two things define you: Your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything."
