Everyone has priority and their choice. If you are happy being overweight then marvelous because that's your choice, you have all the right to be in good shape and how you wish to see yourself. But the main thing is 'choice'. If you feel there is no negativity regarding it, go ahead otherwise start working on it.
The body is a wonderful tool to self-regulate and heal. If we pay, then it comes back to us. Similarly, if we stock up or eat low quality fuel then in return we will get malfunction of our body. It's like you are putting petrol instead of diesel in a diesel-driven car. Losing weight is not a miracle, it takes time, willpower, patience, and control on yourself. Moreover, it needs regular exercise, and eating less is the only formula. And, if you have gone through this and failed in it, you will be better knowing this.
There are lakhs of books, videos, workouts designed to help you lose weight. If these were successful then there would be no fitness industry. Anybody can get in shape by keeping a similar determination all through. Dieting several times and still not losing weight then what could be the issue. Discover what nourishment propensities of yours are affecting.
Food is the only way of comforting us. Discover what food to be ruled out and what is benefiting you. We always end up eating too much when we are angry, depressed, stressed out, loneliness, etc. thus avoiding the confront deep emotional issues. We satisfy ourselves by saying ' I'll do that when I will lose weight'. Why not live those moments now because time spent will never come back. Unless you feel confident, happy, secure by being overweight it is not much fun.
Now the main problem is, what are the issues which are stopping you from reaching your goal. Let's see what we can do for finding it. Maintain a food diary and record everything you eat, what, when, how much, and why you are eating will reveal a lot. Also, you will get out of the boredom and the loneliness you were facing. This will also reveal the reason why you eat a particular food in a particular mood. If this is not the issue, then you can seek professional help.
Once you have worked upon your issues- whether it is anger, loneliness, boredom, etc. and what is representing you, then you can move ahead a bit different.
You can work on your hobbies to avoid excess food. Like you can always go for a walk, swimming, any sport, or dancing. Replace your extra meals by other pleasure activities like knitting, singing, drawing or any outdoor activity that makes you happy. Avoiding extra meals will surely help you to achieve your dream.
Take time to decide what you really want to eat and in what quantity you are having. After choosing what to eat, play game/exercise with yourself, "before eating, imagine you are going in the kitchen, open up the cupboard and take out your favorite chocolate biscuits tin, you took out 8 biscuits from the tin and closed it. Then you are going to the living room, there you sat on the sofa, watching TV and taking a bite of biscuit." This will make you realize what you have chosen and how much calories you will intake in one go. This will make you conscious and difficult to eat those 8 biscuits at a time.
Once will start reducing your weight, you will find the real issues of your life, that how you want the world to treat you. Try not to blow up at senseless things as it expands the weight to be sheltered to stay fit.
Use weight as a shield to fight against the world and from your emotions. While you are in the process of losing weight, many times you will be emotionally broken, frustrated, and irritated. Don't worry and fight those emotions cause Yes it is worthwhile.
Be the version of yourself you are dreaming off as no one will come and achieve those dreams for you.
