Old Gen (GenY) vs New Gen (Millenials)

We all are very familiar with the term that often we use i.e., Generation Gap. So today I am writing upon that only how our new-gen or can say we all are different from our grandparents' generation.

EDUCATION

   Earlier no-one uses to give importance to education like today. Especially when I talk about women's then there would be very few women who might have passed intermediate but now the whole system has changed. The competition level is touching heights. From the past few years most of the students are completing their post-graduation. Over the decade this stat has changed, now women are getting equal education like men because today everyone knows that without education we are nothing. But earlier if someone did a bachelor's degree then it was an achievement or say a miracle.

EMPLOYMENT

   If I talk about decades back then there were no women working rather they use to handle daily household chores but our new-gen has mostly women working and now every woman used to work.

Earlier old people mostly did farming. But, now as we all know we have thousands of choices to choose from so obviously now our gen has a lot of employment opportunities than our old gen.

FOODING HABITS

   This is my favorite topic amongst all. Our grandparents used to eat everything organic or say pure they didn't have pizza, burger, puffs, etc. they even were not aware of this dish's name, we are the ones to introduce these dishes to them. And if I say about our new-gen then it is dependent upon this pizza, burger, etc. We don't have any word in our life which sounds like purity or healthy food. And old gen was all gathered by healthy food. Similarly, we are gathered by unhealthy food - sad but reality. They use to cook each and everything in their homes but now we used to rush out of our homes mainly on weekends or whenever we can go to have our favorite junk food.

MINDSET

   As there is a generation gap so obviously there is a wide difference in mindsets. They have old thoughts but now there is no doubt that most of the time, they are accepting today's gen thought. Like, in the old days, there was no trend of going and studying out of hometown but now this is the first choice of our gen to go out of their hometown and then have their further education. So, sometimes even today in some of the families they deny for not sending children out to study.

TECHNOLOGY

   I don't have to say much about it as everyone is very clear about it. Our grandparents are not at all aware of the technology. Till now, only few have managed to learn our latest technology but the majority of them still don't know and what to say of our new-gen they are the god of technology. New-gen no doubt has gathered nothing, but technology. And in old times there were nothing like computers, phones, etc like we have from the day we have stepped on this earth.

Yes our grandparents are old they have old mindset, but they are the best and they have the best of experience feel always blessed to have them with you. So, this blog is for all, who think their grandparents don't understand them or have a similar type of feelings for their grandparents. So, lets spread this blog so that our grandparents can feel special. Do comment down your experiences with your grandparents if you find something relatable.
